We had a great day at SEA LIFE London Aquarium today providing free shark art for children and adults. It is half-term and the aquarium was full of enthusiastic children (and adults!) of all ages, who thoroughly enjoyed creating shark art and learning about the different species of sharks.

We were positioned next to the shark tank and met the beautiful sharks of the aquarium including Betty the Bowmouth Guitarfish. She was absolutely stunning and shared her home with Jeffrey, Rod and Jane the Brown sharks. We also met Zippy and Bungle the Sand Tiger sharks, Ashley, Belle and Dean the Nurse sharks, one Grey Reef shark and a number of Black Tip Reef sharks. It was difficult to tear ourselves away from such a beautiful exhibit at the end of the day.

Be sure to check out the shark art the children produced. They did a great job and we loved the diversity of colouring in techniques and styles! The photographs from this event are at this link:

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Rebecca Carter and the other staff of SEA LIFE London Aquarium for welcoming us and being so supportive of our cause. We wish you all the best for the coming year and hope to see you again in the future.
