It is amazing what a little bit of passion, creativity and a short film can achieve by highlighting environmental problems to the general public in an engaging way.

A number of A-list celebrities have teamed up to voice a series of short films with the tag line “Nature doesn’t need people. People need nature.” This Nature is Speaking initiative has been organised by Conservation International and is well worth watching. The films are thought provoking, short enough to keep people’s attention during a busy day and have stunning music and cinematography. It is great to see famous faces using their skills and exposure to do something positive for the world.

Watch Harrison Ford as The Ocean and Julia Roberts as Mother Nature here.

Another one to watch is Morgan Freeman presenting the short film What’s Possible at the recent U.N Climate Summit. It is impossible not to be soothed by his infamous voice and yet, at the same time, be made to sit up and listen. Be soothed and inspired here.

Finally, there is our effort….

We may not be celebrities, we don’t have the rich caramel tones of Morgan Freeman’s voice and I certainly don’t look or sound as fabulous as Julia Roberts but we do have passion, voices and our skills! We are doing our part to make a positive change for the world, particularly sharks and oceans, and you can see our short promo video here. It is perfect for a work coffee break and we had such fun filming it….enjoy.
